Steam in numbers
Platform-wide statistics computed from 131,508 released games and their recorded price and review history. No estimates presented as facts, and no chart without the data behind it.
Where these numbers come from. Everything on these pages is computed from this site's own database — the Steam store API for catalogue data, Valve's review histogram and IsThereAnyDeal's price log for the history. Nothing is bought from a third party and nothing is scraped from a competitor.
What is missing is missing on purpose. Playtime figures stopped being published years ago, achievement rates, review languages, Steam Deck ratings and the hardware survey are not collected here — so there are no charts for them, rather than charts filled with guesses. The full method is written out here.
